2017
In 2017, CarVia was founded by Joschka & Julian Reik to make own cars obsolete with shared mobility.

2019
Early on, the first Tesla electric cars were added to the fleet, marking the beginning of extensive expertise in electric car rentals.

2020
The first CarVia Rental Hub outside of Munich has opened with a new location in Stuttgart

With the fourth consecutive doubling of sales, 2021 marked the next milestone in a successful history of organic growth.

Several new locations were therefore opened in 2022. CarVia is now also represented in Frankfurt, Hamburg & Berlin.

The CarVia app was launched in 2022. Users can now easily rent CarVia vehicles in Munich using their smartphone.

Julian sees optimization opportunities where actually overoptimization has already taken place. Above all, customers benefit from this, as all services and processes contain 100% CarVia DNA.
On average, an owner-occupied car is only driven for 46 minutes a day.
This corresponds to 3% of the actual possible usage time.
