Fantastic service that I wish we had in Australia. Will definitely use again when in Germany. Great selection of cars at reasonable prices with great professional service. Had a Cayman GTS this time around for a few days and look forward to trying some of the other fleet vehicles next time!
I hired an M3 Touring through this outfit and it was a great experience. The guy who handed over the car was really accommodating and helpful. The car was phenomenal and everything in the process was super simple and straight forward. Definitely recommend!
Great company. Rented a GT4 in Stuttgart, they took the time to walk around the car to document any damages, asked for me to take pictures and videos. Great process, Car was clean and in excellent shape. Super service, could not be happier. I will have to do a trip every year from now on.
Such an awesome experience! Rented a BMW M3 and the ride was such an amazing experience. Pick up was in Munich and drop off was in Salzburg and each time was ABSOLUTELY seamless. Will definitely rent again when I'm in Germany!
The best prices for cars in Germany. Good communication with customers, the deposit was returned the next day. I recommend👍

Driving a Rental Car in Paris
Paris, the capital of France, is not only a popular destination for visitors from all over the world but also offers German travelers unforgettable impressions and exciting excursion opportunities in the surrounding areas. That’s why we recommend exploring the roads beyond the city limits with a rental car—or simply enjoying the thrill of driving a sports car along world-famous boulevards such as the Champs-Élysées.
In good weather, it’s also worth making a trip to the magnificent castles of the region, first and foremost the Palace of Versailles. If you’re starting your vacation from Paris, we especially recommend our SUVs. With a spacious vehicle, you’ll have plenty of room for your luggage and that of your fellow travelers.
FAQ
As a visitor from Europe, the U.S., Canada, South Amercia, or Australia, you can rent and drive a rental car in Paris/France with your valid national driver’s license. It is not required to have an international driving license.
Please note:
- The legal minimum driving age in France is 18 years.
- Certain vehicle categories in our rental fleet such as SUVs or sports cars require a higher minimum age e.g. 25 years.
- Your license must be in English or another Latin script. It is enough when there is a translation on your document. If not, you will need an official translation or an IDP.
With your driver’s license (and ideally an IDP), you can easily rent a vehicle and enjoy Paris as well as day trips to places like Versailles, Champagne, or the French countryside.
If you are involved in an accident with your rental car in Paris, it is important to stay calm and take the right steps. Please proceed in the following order:
- Secure the accident scene – Switch on the hazard lights, put on the safety vest, and place the warning triangle.
- Provide first aid if necessary and call the emergency services immediately.
- Contact the police.
- Document the accident – Take photos of the situation, vehicles, and damages. Note down the names, addresses, license plate numbers, and insurance details of all parties involved.
- Inform us immediately about the incident. You will find our emergency number in your rental documents – we will take care of everything else, including roadside assistance or a replacement vehicle.
- Send us a detailed accident report.
By following these steps, you are legally protected, and we can support you as quickly as possible.
As a driver in Paris, you should pay attention to a few specific traffic regulations:
🚦 Traffic Rules
- Right of way: The “priority to the right” rule applies even on many larger roads, unless a priority sign indicates otherwise.
- Low-emission zones (Crit’Air sticker): Paris is a low-emission zone. Vehicles require a valid Crit’Air vignette (our rental cars are, of course, equipped accordingly).
- Speed limits:
- Within city limits: 50 km/h (in many areas of Paris only 30 km/h).
- Urban expressways: 70 km/h.
- Rural roads: 80 km/h.
- Highways: 130 km/h (110 km/h in rainy conditions).
- Alcohol limit: With our rental cars, the limit is 0.0 ‰.
🅿️ Parking
- Street parking is usually subject to fees and limited to a maximum of 2 hours.
- Parking on sidewalks, at intersections, or in front of driveways is strictly controlled and cars are quickly towed.
- We strongly recommend using parking garages or underground car parks, as parking there is safer and often cheaper than fines or towing costs.
- In many districts, parking spaces marked “résidents” are reserved exclusively for local residents.
With the Cross-Border Travel option, which you can add during your online booking or at the rental station, you are allowed to drive your rental car abroad. Please make sure to check the list of permitted countries.
