Particularly important for drivers of high-powered vehicles: strict speed regulations apply in Mallorca. Outside built-up areas, 55 mph is permitted depending on the road; on expressways you may only drive 62 mph; and even on highways you should stay below 75 mph. If you're caught exceeding the speed limits, the penalties are very high. Drive carefully and take care of yourself!
