Cavallino Rampante and Rosso Corsa: The Ferrari Brand

The prancing horse, known as "Cavallino Rampante" in Italian, has been with Enzo Ferrari since his time as a racing driver. According to legend, in 1923, the mother of a deceased aviator who had painted the horse on his airplane asked Ferrari to carry on the symbol as a good luck charm. Ferrari gratefully accepted.
