Where to take your dream car in Spain
From Marbella, the A-397 up to Ronda is 30 miles of hairpins and the best drive in Andalusia. From Barcelona, follow the coast north through the Costa Brava to Cadaqués, or head inland to the serrated peaks of Montserrat. And on Mallorca, the Serra de Tramuntana road down to Sa Calobra alone is worth the flight.
Portugal and France are on the list of permitted countries too: Marbella to the Algarve is an afternoon’s drive, and from Barcelona the French Riviera and Monaco are a long lunch away. Just add the cross-border option when you book.

Yes, a security deposit is placed on your credit card as a hold. The amount depends on the exact car you choose - you can see it during the booking process. The deposit is only due when you pick up the car and is only held on your credit card, never charged.
Yes. Book the “Cross-border trip” add-on and you’re free to drive to Portugal, France, Monaco, Italy or Switzerland, among others. The exact list of permitted countries is shown in the booking process and on your booking confirmation.
