Where to drive a Ferrari around Nuremberg
Autobahn: the A9 towards Munich and the A3 towards Würzburg have long stretches without a speed limit - Munich is 90 minutes away.
Romantic Road: Rothenburg ob der Tauber is about an hour away, and the Tauber valley leads straight onto Germany's most famous scenic route and on to Würzburg's wine country.
Franconian Switzerland: the country roads through Fränkische Schweiz and the Altmühl valley - corners, castles and beer gardens, half an hour from the city.
City: Kaiserburg, the old town and the Documentation Center - Nuremberg is compact, and the Ferrari is parked outside.

How it works for visitors from the US
Pickup or delivery: pick up your Ferrari at our Nuremberg rental hub at Kressengartenstrasse 14, or we deliver it to your hotel or to Nuremberg Airport (NUE).
Driver's license: a US or Canadian driver's license is all you need - no international driving permit required. Bring your passport.
Minimum age: 27 years for the Roma, 30 years for the 296 GTS - and in both cases you need to have held your driver's license for at least 3 years. The booking process shows the requirement next to each car.
Deposit: blocked on a credit card in the renter's name, never charged. Debit cards are not accepted. The amount is shown during booking.
Cancellation: free of charge up to one week before pickup.
Return: our Nuremberg hub has a 24/7 key safe, so a late return after a day on the Romantic Road is no problem.

Cross-border trips are possible with every car in our fleet to Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Italy, France, Monaco, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Portugal and mainland Spain. Select the cross-border option during booking and the car is covered for your route. The Czech Republic, just an hour east of Nuremberg, is not on the list. Austria and Switzerland require a toll sticker (vignette).
No. A valid US or Canadian driver's license is accepted as is. You only need your passport alongside it at pickup.
