Sports car rental in Nuremberg
At CarVia you can rent a real sports car in Nuremberg - Porsche 911, Audi R8, Aston Martin, Ferrari - and drive it where it belongs: onto the A9 without a speed limit, onto the Romantic Road, into Franconian Switzerland. Our hub sits at the Mercedes dealership on Kressengartenstrasse 14, five minutes from the main train station, and every car is the exact model you booked.
Which sports car to rent in Nuremberg
Our sports car fleet in Germany is one of the largest in Europe, and most of it is Porsche: 911 in Carrera, GTS and Turbo trim, the 911 GT3, the Cayman up to the GT4 RS and the 718 Spyder RS. Next to them: the Audi R8 with its V10, the Aston Martin Vantage as coupe and roadster, the Alpine A110, the Ferrari Roma and 296 GTS, the McLaren GT and Artura Spider, the Lamborghini Urus, the Mercedes-AMG GT R and the BMW M3 and M4. The booking form above shows which of them are in Nuremberg for your dates, and you always get the exact car you book - no "or similar".
Nuremberg is a compact city with big roads around it. If you want the car for the autobahn, take a 911 Turbo or the R8. If you want corners, the Cayman GT4 RS, the Alpine or the Vantage are the ones - light, loud and built for the Franconian country roads.
Where to drive a sports car around Nuremberg
Autobahn: the A9 towards Munich and the A3 towards Würzburg have long stretches without a speed limit - Munich is 90 minutes away, and you set the pace.
Romantic Road: Rothenburg ob der Tauber is about an hour away, and the Tauber valley leads straight onto Germany's most famous scenic route and on to Würzburg's wine country.
Franconian Switzerland: the country roads through Fränkische Schweiz and the Altmühl valley - corners, castles and beer gardens, half an hour from the city.
City: Kaiserburg, the old town and the Documentation Center - park the sports car in front of the castle for the photo, then head back out.

Fantastic service that I wish we had in Australia. Will definitely use again when in Germany. Great selection of cars at reasonable prices with great professional service. Had a Cayman GTS this time around for a few days and look forward to trying some of the other fleet vehicles next time!
I hired an M3 Touring through this outfit and it was a great experience. The guy who handed over the car was really accommodating and helpful. The car was phenomenal and everything in the process was super simple and straight forward. Definitely recommend!
The best prices for cars in Germany. Good communication with customers, the deposit was returned the next day. I recommend👍
Such an awesome experience! Rented a BMW M3 and the ride was such an amazing experience. Pick up was in Munich and drop off was in Salzburg and each time was ABSOLUTELY seamless. Will definitely rent again when I'm in Germany!
Great company. Rented a GT4 in Stuttgart, they took the time to walk around the car to document any damages, asked for me to take pictures and videos. Great process, Car was clean and in excellent shape. Super service, could not be happier. I will have to do a trip every year from now on.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, on weekdays. On weekends the minimum rental is two days. Most customers tell us one day is not enough anyway - and the daily rate drops the longer you keep the car.
Yes. Cross-border trips are possible with every car in our fleet to Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Italy, France, Monaco, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Portugal and mainland Spain. Select the cross-border option during booking and the car is covered for your route. The Czech Republic, just an hour east of Nuremberg, is not on the list. Austria and Switzerland require a toll sticker (vignette).
No. A valid US or Canadian driver's license is accepted as is. You only need your passport alongside it at pickup.
Prices are in euros and depend on the model, the rental period and the mileage you choose. Enter your dates in the booking form above and you will see the exact price for every available car, including the deposit amount. Longer rentals come with a lower daily rate.
It varies by car. For most sports cars it is 25 years, for the most powerful models it is higher. You will see the exact minimum age for each car in the booking process. We keep it that way because the accident statistics for younger drivers are what they are - and because 500-plus hp deserve some respect.
